This piece was created for the Coe Center for the Arts, on their newly-established art annex and project space. This piece is about trancendent inspiration and how art, aesthetics and beauty is a language capable of transcending time, space, and people. The baskets in this piece are from the Coe collection: one contemporary Diné, the other a more traditional Seneca basket. Despite the time, distance and culture between these two works, they echo a beautiful similarity, cultivated in the past, transpired to the present, continued to the future...
